This university was established in 1996.It is in Dhanmondi. It offers degrees in Computer Science & Technology, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Pharmacy, B.B.A., M.B.A. & Architecture. Every year students are admitted in Spring and Fall semester. Students get admission in every department through admission test or viva. A student must have at least second division in SSC. and HSC. to get admitted in the graduation program. Students who have completed O'Level can also get admitted here. In this case, they must have satisfactory results in two subjects. To get admitted in M.B.A. program one must have 16-year education that means graduation at least.

Except Architecture all other undergraduate degrees have 8 semesters. Architecture has 10 semesters. Credit hour is different for every different subject. Total credit hour is 162 in computer Engineering,162 in Civil and Environmental Engineering,130 in Business Administration,60 in M.B.A.,164 in Pharmacy and 202 in Architecture. Architecture is a 5-year course with 10 semesters and M.B.A. is a 2-year course with 4 semesters.

In this University, except B.B.A., semester fee (including all expenses) is taka 40,000 in all other disciplines of the Undergraduate program. Semester fee for B.B.A. is taka 36,000 and for M.B.A. program is taka 25,000. Scholarship is given according to merit. Better performance in semester result can do highest for a student by making his semester fee half. Recently A.F.Rahman scholarship scheme has started.
